Srinagar, Oct 11 (KNO): Maktabah Maseeh-ul-Ummah, in collaboration with the Mirwaiz Foundation, is organizing the result declaration and prize distribution ceremony of the second grand annual Seerah competition – 2025 at the historic Markazi Jamia Masjid Srinagar on Sunday (12th October 2025) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
The event will be graced by Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Mohammad Umar Farooq as the Chief Guest, a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
This year’s Seerah competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of different age groups across the Valley, reflecting deep love and reverence for the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
The program aims to encourage the younger generation to study and emulate the Prophet’s noble character, compassion, and guidance in their lives.
On this blessed occasion, a special edition of Para Amma will also be released, featuring the Kashmiri translation of Bayaan-ul-Furqaan by Muhajir-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Yousuf Shah Sahib (RA), along with color-coded Tajweed rules. This edition marks a unique step toward promoting Qur’anic understanding and pronunciation among children in their mother tongue.
